Terms of Service and Refund Policy

Since photo scanning & digitization is a service, we do not allow any refunds or returns. We will do our very best to provide you the best service possible.

Once we confirm we have received your photos and we begin scanning, we’ll send you a couple of “proofs” for you to review. A 600dpi image from a 4×6/5×7 photo can be anywhere 4 to > 6MB. Many email services do not support attachments over 10MB, so there may be more than one email to get you the initial proofs. Once you accept the proofs and we begin scanning, all your images will be scanned with that same quality.

Only ship photos that you want digitized as you will be charged for each photo scanned. You will not be able to pick and choose which photos you want and do not want from the final product. Each photo will receive basic digital image correction / enhancement / editing. These basic services include basic image/color enhancement, adjusting orientation of the images, and removing red-eye where possible. We will include a separate scan of the back of the photograph if there is any writing on it.

You will be charged based on the total number of photos scanned. This is why it is so important that you prepare your photos before you send them. Organize (see Tips section) them by decade or holiday or event – whatever method makes the most sense to you. Remove photos you don’t want. Remember it was popular for a long time to get duplicate prints. Make sure you remove the duplicates so you’re not paying for a digital duplicate as well.

When we complete the service we will send you the final invoice based on the total photos scanned. We will not ship your order until payment completes.

Contact us immediately if there is any issue with the memory card

We ask that that first thing you do is to put the memory card in your computer and begin enjoying your new digital images. If there are problems with the memory card, contact us right away and let us make it right.

Check the memory card as soon as you receive it

If there is any issue with the photos on the memory card when you receive it. You will have 15 days from the day we ship your order to you to notify us, and we’ll help troubleshoot the issue. If it is a bad memory card, or it was damaged somehow during shipping, a replacement memory card with your photos on it will be sent via USPS mail at no charge. We will only make one replacement.
